Affliction's first foray into MMA promotion is July 19 with the event called "Banned."  The company is well known for its trendy t-shirts, which are worn by several popular fighters.  Affliction has gathered several big-name heavyweights to participate in the initial fight card, which will be available on pay-per-view and takes place at The Honda Center in Anaheim, CA.  Combatwire caught up with three of those big heavyweights, Tim Sylvia, Andrei Arlovski and Ben Rothwell, at the recent Adrenaline MMA event in Chicago.  Click to watch the interviews.

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia will face Pride Fighting Championships Heavyweight Champion Emilianenko Fedor for the heavyweight  belt as recognized by the sanctioning body World Alliance of Mixed Martal Arts.

Another Former UFC Champion is on the Affliction roster: Andrei Arlovski. He'll face former IFL star Ben Rothwell.

Ben Rothwell is anxious to return to action after a long layoff.
